SEOUL, Korea (AVING Special Report on ‘PHOTO&IMAGING 2011′) — <Visual News> Canon Korea Consumer Imaging (CEO Dong-Whan Kang, www.canon-ci.co.kr) has took part in the ‘PHOTO&IMAGING 2011(P&I 2011)’ held at COEX, Seoul, Korea on April 21~24.
Canon is showcasing total 374 products with 90 brands DSLR, compact camera, lens and photo printer including 16 brand new products for this show. It also operates various theme zones that visitors can experience Canon’s technological power.
In particular, Canon is focusing its own optical technology leadership celebrating the breakthrough manufacturing 60 millions of EF Lens. Visitors can feel the essence of Canon’s optical technology at the ‘Optical Technology Zone’ that Canon has planned for the first time ever since participated in ‘P&I’ by presenting all Canon products from DSLR and compact camera to camcorder and camera for broadcasting that Canon lenses are applied for.
In addition, Canon gives the chance to test Canon’s all DSLRs with various wide-angle and zoon lenses for visitors. At the ‘DSLR Camera Zone’, Canon widens the range of experience by arranging special lenses such as fish-eye and macro lenses that you can’t use usually.
There is the ‘New Product Zone’ to see all new products released in the first half of 2011. Visitors can feel Canon’s technology and performance with DSLR, compact camera and more.
It is not the end! Canon also runs the ‘Unique Theme Zone’ to offer different pleasure for visitors by setting various themes and shooting backgrounds. First of all, the ‘Supersensitive Zone’ is decorated like open-air café with soft light. It also makes visitors can experience Canon’s own ISO sensitivity technology which offers clean image without blurring in the dark place by setting inside dark with lack of the intensity of radiation intentionally.
At the ‘EOX Movie Zone’, you can use ‘EOX 5D Mark Ⅱ’ equipped with accessories used for shooting site actually as well as shooting Canon’s DSLR video.
Above these, the ‘Compact Camera Camcorder Zone’ decorated with models disguised as dolls and mannequins and cute props with the concept of show window and the ‘DSLR Camera Zone’ being like real film site add the pleasure for visitors.
In addition, there’re iPads for several zones and you can meet various applications such as ‘Lens Guide’, ‘Photo Academy’ and more that Canon’s preparing to service prior to release.
